This is a privately run directory, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, provide or remove an official booking photo, post bond, or retrieve a government file. Contact the agency that created or keeps the record.
Reach the Wisconsin Record Holder
The arresting agency may hold a police report, while a county sheriff or jail holds booking and custody records. A person sentenced to state custody or supervision belongs in the Wisconsin DOC system. Court clerks keep case files and dispositions. Match the request to the record and the office that made it.
- For an arrest in a known county, use the Wisconsin County Directory to find its local roster and records page.
- For a booking sheet or photo request, start with the statewide booking-record process and ask the sheriff, jail, or arresting police department that holds it.
- For a state sentence or supervision record, use the Wisconsin DOC offender search and records route.
- For the court case and its outcome, start at the Wisconsin Court System’s case-search page or contact the circuit-court clerk.
- For federal prison custody, use the BOP locator. For ICE custody, use the ICE detainee locator. BOP does not publish booking photos, and immigration detention is not a criminal conviction.
For a correction to a third-party page, use the contact or correction method on that page and include the exact URL and supporting public record. A copied page, a government record, and a court entry have separate custodians.
